Each resident is welcomed into a private, fully furnished studio within a beautifully restored heritage building — a space to call their own.

Daily check-ins and personalised care plans are coordinated by our on-site support staff, ensuring every individual receives the guidance and stability they need to thrive.

Training & Employment

At The Grand Sanctuary, training and employment are central to our vision of long-term recovery. In partnership with East Riding College, residents have access to vocational courses, skills-building programmes, and tailored support to re-enter the workforce with confidence. From construction to hospitality and admin, we offer practical opportunities that meet real needs.

But more than that, we offer the chance to rediscover purpose and rebuild self-worth. Many of those we support arrive having lost not just stability, but also a sense of identity and direction. That’s why we focus on more than just skills — we nurture confidence, routine, and personal agency.

With every course completed and each new step taken, residents begin to see themselves differently: not as people left behind, but as individuals moving forward. This is where growth begins — not in grand gestures, but in small, consistent wins that restore pride, belonging, and belief in what’s next.

Wellbeing Through Movement

Through our partnership with East Riding Leisure, residents gain full access to local gyms, pools, and a variety of fitness classes and wellbeing resources.
